and there's no way they're getting back into hardware. they didn't even acknowledge the dreamcast's b-day. try microsoft, because they're really the only one without a handheld. also just for fun try and contact tiger telematics, if they still exist. (don't actually do any deals with them though)

Well mainly just for licensed permission, I don't care if Sega wants nothing to do with it and sides we'd make a couple to give to you guys plus games n stuff like a beta/alpha model, however that Sega Vision thing looks pretty sweet from over here. Its hard to get, so far.

well as most people in the forum know, im a BIG Sega fan. I think that Sega HAVE been showing signs that they want to get back into the hardware business. i can go on and explain why i think this is

welllll

basiclly before dreamcast Sega developed a new arcade board named NAOMI and the dreamcast used naomis tecnology.

and now sega have just Released the Sega Ringedge and Ringwide

this is a vid of it at a trade show

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=423FSWYM-gM

now! they have been making patents for New controllers and lots of names of potential consoles

http://www.patentgenius.com/image/7488254-19.html

http://www.patentgenius.com/image/7488254-32.html

i just think that Sega are getting a console for 2010 why else would they announce a NEW 2D SONIC GAME on 9/9/09 to be out in 2010

cos its guna be a LAUNCH TITLE!

all of the things sega is saying to the public is very different than the things sega are doing backstage.

also at e3 they had their own meeting room when other third party developers didnt have their own meeting room

if you wana read more go here

as much as i'm excited for the new sonic game, i just don't think it would cut it as a launch title in this day and age. also the controllers ... one didn't have any analogue sticks, and the other only had one. sure it worked back then, but the standards of 3d control have gone beyond one analogue stick.

That's the licensing permission, for the title "Dreamcast" then add a 2 at the end and if not its called the DCX-2 after its older brother.

sega dont have a habit of making sequels to consoles they have each generation.

they didnt make a mega drive 2 or a saturn 2 (well i know they changed the models but it was the same console)

if they do they will think of a new name
